iTunes 9 mini-review
- The UI in iTunes have always been a bit experimental, and I’ve never really cared. It has always somewhat matched the OS anyway. But iTunes 9 feels like if someone made a skinned Windows-application and ported it for OS X. Wrong gradient in the toolbar, weird buttons, overall too glossy.
- I like the new icons in the sidebar.
- The grid-view is white in iTunes 9. I guess I could live with the sudden change in color, but I will miss the black background.
- In Snow Leopard a lot of applications use a “smooth” scroll, not sure if it’s called that in english. Anyway, iTunes 9 doesn’t use it, which feels odd.
- I love the App Managment-thingy, that should’ve been there since iPhone OS 1.0.
- Still no movies in Sweden. Whatever, I have my anime.
- I still can’t remove the Stocks app from my iPhone >:(
