Weird things about me
Since marco posted about himself, it obligatory for me to retort with my “opinion” or whatever you may call it. Let’s begin:
I’m a geek and I like anime. I’ve never tried sushi though, and I don’t like mecha-stuff, or Star Trek.
I do like RPGs, Final Fantasy VII is one of my favourite games. I also play World of Warcraft, mostly because of the story. However, I don’t like PvP (even though I’m playing on a PvP-server, but that’s because my friends play on it). I can understand though that some people don’t like that kind of games and I respect that. On the other hand, some think I’m crazy because I have a PS2 but don’t like Beat ‘em up-games.
I don’t use an RSS client on my computer, Google Reader is more portable and I feel that “news” need to be portable. I only use VLC when QuickTime+Perian doesn’t work. I don’t like Emacs or Java. I use Coda for web development and nano/notepad/whatever for other texts.
I don’t like websites made in Flash. Flash should in my opinion only be used to play videos, music or games on.
When it comes to operating systems: I use Mac OS X and I love it. Linux is okay (my personal favourite desktop enviroment is probably XFCE) but I’m not using it on any computer right now. And I think Windows Vista works just fine, better than XP actually.
I’ve never had a Facebook-account and I will not get one. There’s nothing on that community I miss on all the others.
I love metal, not because it “relates to my inner anger”, it just feels “powerful”. I also listen to soundtracks, because they often also sound “powerful”.
I don’t like challenges such as climbing mountains or other stuff. I don’t even like tivolis. I just doesn’t get any enjoyment from them, so it feels like a waste of my time.
I can wake up early in the morning and go to sleep early in the evening. The last weeks I couldn’t sleep after 09:00 in the morning, it just didn’t work.
I got a phone early in my life, but I’m hardly using it.
